   There is a hard-working woodcutter（伐木工人，樵夫）.He lives in a village.Every day he goes to the forest and cuts（砍） the trees.He sells（賣） the wood for some food.
   On a hot day，he is cutting a tree，and his axe（斧頭）accidentally falls into the river.The river is deep and he can't find his axe in it.The poor woodcutter sits at the bank of the river and weeps（哭泣）.
  While he weeps the God of the river wakes up and says to him， "Why are you weeping？"
   The woodcutter tells him the story.The God of the river says， "I will look for the axe for you." He jumps into the river and retrieves（找回）a golden axe，but the woodcutter says， "It's not mine!" He jumps again and comes back with a silver（銀）axe，but the woodcutter says， "It isn't my axe，either." The God jumps into the water again and comes back with an iron（鐵）axe.The woodcutter jumps up and says， "Yes!It's mine!It's my axe!"
   "You are honest!" the God says， "The silver and the golden axes are yours."
